About London System
The London is the most honest low-theory opening in chess: the same setup against nearly everything, understood in an afternoon, and genuinely uncomfortable for unprepared opponents (the Bxf7 sacrificial ideas vs ...g6 setups, the c4 breaks). Its cost: Black knows the plan too, and better players equalize routinely. The club-workhorse choice for players with lives outside chess theory.
